Assam Agricultural University Admission 2026-27: Assam Agricultural University admission process has started for the various Postgraduate and doctoral degree courses through the entrance exam. For the current academic session of 2026-27, the Assam Agricultural University has started the admission procedure. The last date to complete the AAU UG registration process is 14 July 2026*. The application form can be found and filled out by the students at the university's official website, which is @admission.aau.ac.in. All the candidates can fill out the application form before the deadline. Students who are planning on pursuing any of the courses offered at the university should know that they will have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000. AAU admission in PG Courses has started for MSC Agriculture, MSC Food Technology, MSC Agricultural Biotechnology, MSC Nematology, MSC Plant Pathology, MSC Home Science, MBA, and MFSC programmes. All Assam Agricultural University Admission 2026-27 courses will be offered on the merit of the university's entrance exam, and the minimum qualification to appear in the entrance test is securing a bachelor’s degree from an approved university in India. The AAU PG entrance exam was conducted offline on 14 July 2026*.

AAU PhD Admission 2026-27

AAU offers a PhD programme in various subjects such as Agriculture, Fishery, and Community Science. The admission is based on the ICAR entrance test. AAU  will soon start the admission process for PhD course. The eligibility criteria for admission to PhD programme is that the candiate shouldhave masters degree with a minimum 55% to 60% marks in a related specialization.

Note: The candidates serving as JRFs/SRFs/RAs at AAU are eligible to apply for Assam Agricultural University Admission 2026-27 into the PG Programmes subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.

Assam Agricultural University Entrance Exam 2026

(10 + 2) Passed college students from the Science stream having the certificates of Permanent Residence of Assam can apply for the test. Those who perform well in (10 + 2, Science) are also eligible to take a seat in the VET 2026 however, they need to skip the 10 + 2 examination before the date of Assam Agricultural University Admission 2026-27. The wards of defence/para-navy employees published inside the State of Assam for a minimum of 365 days are also eligible to apply for VET 2026.
