Barkatullah University Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria 

For UG (Undergraduate) Program: Applicant must have passed 12th class with a minimum of 50% or equivalent from a recognized board.

For the PG (Postgraduate) Program: Students must hold an undergraduate degree in any stream or equivalent from a UGC-approved university.

For Doctoral (PhD) Program: The candidate must have a PG degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university.

The application fee for admission to UG, PG, and PhD programmes at Barkatullah University is about Rs. 300 to Rs. 500, depending on the Programmes.

Applications are accepted for the following courses. An entrance examination must be passed before admission will be granted. A little more than half of the applicants are accepted. If a student has appeared for the GATE/CAT exams, then the examination score is accepted by the university.

Barkatullah University Ph.D. Entrance Exam

The SC/ST/OBC Candidates need to deposit INR 1000. Barkatullah's PhD entrance exam will be organised on the OMR sheet. This entrance test will be divided into 2 parts: research methodology and Subject of Research. The DET has 100 objective questions divided equally with a ratio of 50-50. DET Entrance test duration is two hours. Apart from this, Ph.D. admission is also done on the valid score in  UGC-NET/JRF, CSIR-NET, or GATE, followed by an Interview conducted by the University.
