These courses are referred to as Doctor of Philosophy which are of 3 to 6 years duration. Those aspirants who pursue this doctoral degree need to be involved in research, original work as well as some contribution to new knowledge in a specific or related field. To be eligible for Doctoral programmes, you need a Master’s degree that should only be in a relevant field.

There is a minimum marks requirement of 55% from each candidate. Relaxation of 5% has been granted to reserve category candidates. Someone who has cleared his M.Phil work will also be considered. Rest of the thing will be as per UGC guidelines.
