CAT Result 2025: CAT 2025 is essential for admission to various postgraduate, fellow and doctorate programs in IIMs. The Indian Institute of Management conducted the computer-based Common Admission Test 2025 (CAT 2025) on 30th November 2025, in 3 sessions. CAT 2025 registration fees were INR 1300/- for SC, ST and PwD candidates and INR 2600/- for all other candidates. The CAT 2025 scorecard will be made available on the CAT website. CAT Result 2025 Date
CAT Result 2025 release date will be announced soon on the official website of IIMs. The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode is expected to release the result date of CAT Result 2025. Information regarding CAT Result 2025 will be tentatively made available by the first week of January 2026. The list of all the candidates who have been shortlisted for the next round of selection process will be uploaded on the respective IIMs official website. Each candidate will be sent an interview letter directly by the IIMs. It is to inform that shortlisting criteria vary across all IIMs.
What is the eligibility for CAT 2025
Students must have following eligibility criteria to qualify for CAT Result 2025.
The candidate must have a bachelor degree with 50% marks or equivalent and 45% for SC/ST/PWD from any university or educational institute recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Also, candidates appearing for the final examination of the bachelor degree examination or equivalent or have completed the degree and are waiting for the result, can apply.
Percentage marks obtained by the candidate will be calculated as per the practice followed by the respective university or institution. However,for grade and CGPA, the mark will be calculated by dividing the CGPA by the highest possible CGPA and multiplying by 100.
Also students applying for CAT 2025 must fulfil any one of the following:
Completed bachelor degree with required mark.
Completed their professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA) or Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with required marks.
Candidates must be in the final year of bachelor degree with required marks.
It must be noted that the general category must have a 50% mark and the reserved category must have a 45% mark.
It must be also noted that merely fulfilling eligibility criteria does not guarantee being shortlisted. There will be multiple stages of the selection process. Candidates must keep their valid and unique mobile number and email ID throughout the selection process.

What is The Admission Process For CAT 2025

CAT 2025 score is the total mark you obtain under CAT marking schemes. Which is +3 mark for every correct answer, -1 for very incorrect MCQ, and 0 deduction for incorrect answer for non-MCQ question.
CAT percentile is calculated in 3 steps:
First candidate score is evaluated section wise, and overall score is obtained from totalling section wise score.
The score of section and overall are scaled and normalized.
